I'm building a fairly simple site but I can't get the footer to remain at (or appear at) the bottom of some pages. Here's an example:

As a side issue, I ran it thru validator and received the following error message:
Line 114, Column 7: end tage for "div" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.
Any suggestions?
